Basil Pesto

Ingredients Yields approx 1 cup

  • 2 Cups (tightly packed) Basil
  • 3 cloves Garlic
  • 1/4 Cup Pine Nuts
  • 2/3 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1-2 Pinches Salt


1. Remove basil leaves from the stem
2. Place basil & garlic into food processor
3. Pulse to chop while slowly adding pine nuts and parmesan cheese
4. Blend to a pulp while slowly drizzling in the olive oil
5. Stop to scrape down the sides, taste, add salt to taste
6. Blend until it is a smooth consistancy
